Hello, I am Lyn Jacobs, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Arbor. I have been with Arbor since 2001 and supplying flooring to apartments since 1989. In 1976, my father started one of the first apartment-focussed flooring business' in Dallas. I spent my summers as a child making forts constructed of boxes of tile and rolls of pad. You could say, it's in my veins! As an apartment industry veteran of over 20 years, I most enjoy partnering with my colleagues and clients to educate and advise for flooring solutions that make sense for the specific needs of the resident, management, and ownership. There are so many variables to consider at every property. I embrace the challenge to find the best solution. The greatest blessing in my work-life is to be able to say that my colleagues and clients are my best friends. I value these friendships and have always conducted my business like I see it conducted 10 years from now. Long-standing relationships based on trust and friendship are what has built Arbor and will continue to be what makes us successful in years to come. I love how Arbor supports our industry. Our leadership's commitment in staff time and dollars is impressive. Arbor has the vision to goal of bettering the industry as a whole through support of our Local and National Apartment Association, U.S. Green Building Council, NARPM, and many other associations. These associations help guide legislators, market our industry, educate our people and our clients, and provide a networking platform to engage our clients.

I am a Sr. Account Manager who has been with Arbor Carpet in our Denver office for over 10 years. I love working for Arbor because it’s a company that knows the meaning of quality service and how to achieve it. I tend to approach my business by under promising and over delivering. That way my customer’s expectations are always exceeded. It makes me feel good about what I have been able to do for them. I was always taught that your word and integrity mean everything. If you want to be respected as a good-hearted individual, you need to act as such. When I am not working you will find me on the ski slopes, sailing and scuba diving, horseback riding, and spending time with my wonderful children and grandchild. Kevin Goodman specializes in consultative selling, business operations and provides excellent customer service through his extensive experience in the multi-family industry.  A 23 year veteran of on-site Management, apartment advertising as well as professional flooring sales to the apartment and commercial industries, Kevin has endured the economic fluctuations of markets and their corresponding budgets.  Kevin graduated college with honors attaining a Business Administration degree, once held a Real Estate Salesmen’s license, trained the trainers for a national management company and has most currently completed NAA’s CAS designation.  Once named national rookie of the year with Arbor Carpet, Kevin has earned a solid reputation as an honest, responsible, intuitive and important asset not only to Arbor Carpet, but his customers as well.   In his free time, Kevin plays golf, snowboards, skis, likes to camp and is a level 2 Krav Maga fighter.  Kevin has an 8 year old son named Blake and moved here from Dallas 11 years ago.

Hello, I’m Steve Christianson. I have been an Account Manager for Arbor’s Denver branch for almost 11 years. I love my job because of the opportunities that I have had to meet all of the great people that fill this industry in our area. It’s a very tight knit group of people who I get to interact with daily, and I love it.

I strive to make my service top of the line by keeping up with my warhouse managers and installers to ensure proper delivery of all services. I find that my guys to an amzing job, but its always a good idea to reiterate the clients’ needs.

Hello, my name is Jon Butters and I am an Account Manager at Arbor’s Denver branch. I have been with the company for 4.5 years and truly enjoy what Arbor has to offer. I very much enjoy the ability to individualize the products that I offer my clients based on the properties, their management, and the owners needs. It gives me a lot of creative freedom that my clients have been very happy with.

I find my customer service is always improving because I always set up realistic expectations that meet my clients’ needs while always maintaining good communication through the process.

Others have described me as timely, detail oriented, and fun to be around. The best piece of advice I have been given is to approach business like it is your company and treat every client as if you were the customer. I find this helps me to stay accountable and customer-centric.

Hi, my name is Miguel Gonzalez and I have recently been given the opportunity to join the Arbor Carpet team as an Account Manager with the Denver Sales Team as of 2013. I am originally from Mexico City and graduated from The National University of Mexico City with a degree in Graphic Communication. I have lived in the United States for the last twenty years. I have been in the Apartment Industry for the past 6 years in a marketing roll where I have developed strong relationships with apartment communities and Management companies. I’ve always heard that Arbor Carpet provides exceptional customer service as well as incredible products, second to none. I believe that! Hello I am Susan Graham. I am the Accounts Recievable and Customer Service Manager at Arbor Carpet’s Denver branch. I’ve worked in the metro-Denver multi-family industry since 1992, originally on the property management side. I have worked on the supplier side since 2003 and joined the Arbor team in 2008. I like being part of an organization that is a leader in the industry on many levels.  I like the fact that we have national presence, yet have local expertise in our market.  I enjoy our casual yet professional atmosphere and team mentality.  Every single person in our organization plays a vital role in our success. I do my best to let our customers know it is all about them in the way I handle their needs.  I want our customers to hang up the phone thinking, “Wow, that was easy!”. I am a strong believer that service is our first product and the flooring comes second! The best piece of advice I ever received was from my father who said that if I worked hard and went to college, I would be able to make decisions for myself and not have them made for me! When I am not working I am outdoors with my three English Bulldogs staying active and enjoying everything CO has to offer.

Hello I am Alicia Moyers and I am a Sr. Customer Service Representative at our Denver branch. Here at Arbor I am responsible for ensuring that the utmost level of customer service is delivered to each and everyone of our clients. I am fully committed to doing whatever it takes to provide an emjoyable experieince when working with us. The best part about my job would have to be my coworkers and working closely with our clients. My coworkers provide an amazing support network that ensure I have the tools to deliver what I promise. Working with my cleints is a joy to me and my commitment is to making them happy. If I have done my job right, my clients are left fully serviced and ready to return next time the need arises. Its very rewarding!

When I am not working, you can find me spending time with friends, enjoying brunch, photography, snowboarding, yoga, reading, and watching movies. My favorite charator would ahve to be Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. She is so strong and whitty!

Hello, my name is Richard Clark.  I have been the purchasing manager at Arbor for 10 years with a total of 27 years experience in the flooring industry.  One of the things I enjoy working here over the years is just watching this company grow into the outstanding company it is now.  I also love having the opportunity to work with a great bunch of people that I respect and enjoy working with.

My theme song would have to be Joanna from Kool and the Gang, because my wife’s name is JoAnne and this song came out when we started dating.  My favorite character in a movie would have to be James Bond.  It would be so cool to be a spy,    having a new adventure around each corner.  I should probably learn how to shoot a gun, you never know when that opportunity might come knocking.    

The best advice someone ever gave me would have to be a friend of mine who suggested I take up a hobby when I was going through my “mid life crises”.  So at the age of 47 I started playing the bass guitar, 6 months later I was playing in a band and 7 years later I am still at it.  I also love home improvement projects.  I love building things and seeing the before and after.  I do accept all Home Depot gift cards.

Hello I am Margene Hickey and I am a purchasing agent for our New Construction division in our Denver office.  I provide materials for Denver as well as Colorado Springs. I have been in this position for 4 years, but have a history with Arbor for over 10! It has ben an absolute pleasure to be a part of this organization.

I am a very dedicated employee and would define myself as efficient, accurate, and willing to help in an area I can. My experience adds value to many areas of our business and I strive to make the organization stronger every day.

People describe me as good natured, deliberate, and confident in my abilities. I try every day to put out the best product that I can. I have been with Arbor for two years and enjoy working for a company where I feel secure in my job and my professional development. I have a strong attention to detail and attribute my success to the fact that I am very attentive to making sure the right products leave our doors and arrive on time to the right clients. Id say my favorite charactor is any that are playe by Clint Eastwood. He seems to aleways make a situation right in the end, ewhich I strive to also do. Hello, I'm Johnny Moreno and I work in the warehouse of our Denver office. I have held this position for 8 years now, and enjoy working for Arbor because they take such good care of their employees.
